Growing up as a child, we seek guidance from those around us. Thus, we have been told for most of our lives before we come to university what to do and what not to do. However, when we step out into university life and the working world, we are faced with more decisions that are completely up to our own jurisdiction.
How do we know what is the best decision to take? Even when we evaluate all the possible factors we see, we may miss one or two or another factor may arise even after we have made that choice. These choices lie in wait in our personal and professional lives. It is during these moments that we look to others for guidance.
They may still be our parents, our friends or even the Buddha. When faced with the troubles of modern life, what decision would the Buddha make? It has been more than a thousand years since he has passed but his manner of thinking can be brought over to the modern day and we hope that you will join us in receiving the wisdom that he has to offer us.
